Finished working on an order for the U.S. Forest Service. Used my white ink from Ryonet but found it to be a little thick for this application. Fortunately, I wasn’t applying a lot of ink to the shirts so they turn out fine.
So Ryonet sent me a copy of the expansion pack for Quickbooks last year and I finally was able to afford to purchase Quickbooks Pro 2011. I need some help. I followed the directions that were provided on how to open a saved company file but when I open the file there is nothing there. What am I doing wrong?
It’s been a while since I’ve worked on any orders but they are coming in again. I’m exposing 8 different screens right now for 3 separate orders and just received another order from a new client today!
Just finished coating 8 screens with emulsion. Let’s just say that I hope that I can get some prints out of a few of them!
Haven’t been working on screens lately. Went to the shop the other day and I’m glad that I have a big 4×4 truck because we received a bunch of snow. It seems that the Kenai Peninsula Borough road contractor doesn’t mind leaving a large snow berm at the entrance to the driveway of our shop.
Spent some time exposing screens last night.
What do you do when you don’t have a darkroom? You create yourself a dark room. An ice fishing tent works well with a table and a yellow bug light. Diazo and emulsion mixed in a light safe environment. Screen coating comes next.
I received my order from Ryonet and was surprised at how quickly it arrived. I placed the order Monday afternoon and it was delivered to my door Friday afternoon. Had some trouble using the UPS order tracker but eventually I was able to figure it out. I ordered two wooded framed 110 mesh screens pre-coated with emulsion as I am printing up uniform shirts for our Native Youth Olympics team that has their state wide competition next weekend. I am still waiting on my order of t-shirts that I ordered the same day I ordered the screens. I placed the order from Alphashirt which I am please with so far. They also have a way to track orders but I have not had any success yet with that. I plan to mix up some emulsion today and then coat my other screens that I spent time recently re-claiming and degreasing. The next steps will be to finish an order for the US Forest Service and another order from the Kenaitze Tribe’s K’Beq’ gift shop. I will be sure to post pictures of the process and finished products!
My screens are drying after removing the old emulsion and de-hazing. Turned out alright however not entirely pleased as there were still some ghost images left behind.
